There is a growing need for adult literacy and numeracy training to enable wider participation in the knowledge economy. Skills Suite for Literacy and Skills Suite for Numeracy are our innovative e-learning teaching resources for basic literacy and numeracy skills. They have been designed for learners at Entry Level 3 or Level 1 who want to upskill or achieve the National Certificate in Adult Literacy at Level 1 and Level 2 respectively. Skills Suite for Literacy and Numeracy prepare learners taking the National Tests set by OCR, City and Guilds and other awarding bodies.

Skills Suite for Literacy and Numeracy breaks new ground in combining diagnostic tools, which assess a learner's level and existing knowledge, with a tailor-made learning plan and supporting instructional material to prepare learners to sit the National Test.

Each course has four components:

1. Adaptive screener
2. Diagnostic assessment
3. Individual Learning Plan and Learning Material
4. Revision Test

Skills Suite for Key Skills

Skills Suite for Key Skills provides complete teaching and learning resources for basic ICT, literacy and numeracy skills.

The teaching resource is designed for learners at Entry Level 3 or Level 1 who want to upskill or achieve the National qualifications in the Key Skills of Application of Number, Communication and ICT, at level 1 and 2. It prepares learners taking the National Key Skills exams set by OCR, City & Guilds and other awarding bodies.

The courseware provides all the learning elements required to successfully reach the desired level. The final section of each course is called "Preparing for my Portfolio", which details the syllabus requirements for the portfolio element, a sample portfolio for reference and a sample exam question for each subject and each level individually.
