About Us
Prospects Professional Training & Consultancy is a nationwide provider of a comprehensive portfolio of Professional Development Courses, Qualifications and Tailored training solutions primarily aimed at organisations and individuals in the IAG, Welfare to Work, Public Sector, Education and Post 14 Learning and Skills Sector.
We have a wide and diverse range of expertise with strong links to a pool of associates, lecturers and consultants. Our Consultancy Services offer bespoke and comprehensive support in this area.
We set the benchmark as a market leader, with an exemplary success rate and reputation for excellence. Our customer base is diverse and includes Further Education Colleges, sixth forms, schools, work based learning providers, community learning providers, charities, housing associations, public sector organisations and individuals wishing to develop their skills amongst others.
Qualifications Centre
As well as our in house training offer, we deliver a comprehensive nationwide programme of training and also work with organisations on their in-house delivery and bespoke training models.
Our Accredited programme includes our ever popular Intensive PTLLS Courses which we were at the forefront of developing. We have successfully delivered this course to hundreds of trainee teachers since 2008. This course is available at Levels 3 & 4 and we are proud to be a City & Guilds accredited centre. We deliver this course in a variety of formats that include the traditional 6 week model, intensive 5 day course, online distance learning and as a bespoke programme. The past year has seen the PTLLS programme being delivered on a nationwide basis, with workshops running in the South West and Yorkshire amongst other areas.
Prospects Qualifications Centre offers UK-wide training and assessment in Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG), Business and Administration, Customer Services, Assessment & Verification and Teaching. It has a particular specialism in career guidance related training and qualifications. The Centre has been established for more than 10 years with a professionally experienced and qualified team. We are an OCR and City & Guilds Accredited Centre.

- OCR Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Advice & Guidance
- OCR Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Advice & Guidance
- (These qualifications are the direct replacements for the current NVQs in Advice & Guidance at levels 3 and 4)
- OCR Level 3 Award in Supporting Clients to Overcome Barriers to Learning & Work (approval pending)
- OCR Level 4 Diploma in Career Information & Advice
- OCR Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance & Development
Integrated Youth Support Services:
- OCR Level 5 Diploma for the Learning, Development and Support Services
- (Connexions) (Approval pending)
- OCR Level 5 Diploma for the Learning, Development and Support Services
- (Education Welfare) (Approval pending)
- OCR Level 5 Diploma for the Learning, Development and Support Services

Professional Development Courses and Workshops
We offer a range of short courses and workshops to support professional development and the attainment of new skills. Attendance on our courses can contribute towards a CPD requirement, and certificates are issued at the end of each course.
Our programme is comprehensive and varied with an offer that includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, NLP, Working with Offenders, Supporting People with Disabilities and Mental Illness, Embedding Functional Skills, Presentation Skills, Dyslexia Awareness, Interview Skills, Managing Challenging Behaviour to ICT courses.
