The Wakefield Skills for Life Group comprises 16 organisations that either deliver or support Skills for Life education for adults throughout the District.

The partnership offers:

• Bespoke, contextualised resources, booklets & DVD's
• Specialist Skills for Life courses for the professional tutor
• Skills for Life awareness raising training
• Bespoke and contextualised short courses
• Organisational/business Training Needs Analysis
• Training in how to embed Skills for Life across your organisation/business
• S.M.O.G consultancy and public communications service - getting your message across effectively
• Training and workshops on Skills for Life and partnership working
• Coaching on the use of a self assessment approach to Skills for Life and quality assurance
• Training in DfES skills checks and assessment for Skills for Life
• An invitation to be part of the Skills for Life Forum and to receive regular Skills for Life updates via the quarterly newsletter
