Welcome to the Skills for Life Network E-News Update
As we're all aware, functional skills are high on the agenda just now. The Learning and Skills Council has recently released an update on functional skills funding for 2010, with details on rates and programme weightings. See below for further details.
Online basics has now launched! This new, free online course aims to help adults take their first steps with computers and the internet. You can read more about Online basics in the article that follows.

 | Promote your courses through Business Link’s Skills Brokerage Service All training providers in Yorkshire and Humber are invited to promote their courses through Business Link’s new Skills Brokerage Platform, which will be launched in February. By providing information about themselves and their courses they will increase their chances of being selected to provide training to businesses of all sizes in the private and public sector. |
