Ofsted Annual Report The Ofsted Annual Report is published in an interactive format, and there is an accompanying video which includes the learning and skills highlights of the report. There are also interesting key findings about literacy and numeracy. |
Post-16 support for those in need: a personal viewpoint A recent Ofsted report found that too few young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities leave school and go on to complete programmes that will help them live independently, study further or gain employment. This news feature on the Ofsted website aims to give an insight into the issues involved. |
Requires improvement judgement for the learning and skills sector Ofsted has announced plans to replace the 'satisfactory' grade for school inspections with a 'requires improvement' judgement. Ofsted has released this statement and will consult with the learning and skills sector on making the same change for the Common Inspection Framework from September 2012. |
