New library resource pack for Skills for Life learners
Activities to support literacy skills development in a library context
This Skills for Life resource pack has been produced by Kirklees library service in partnership with Huddersfield Technical College. The resource pack can be used by Skills for Life tutors or by library staff, and is aimed at literacy learners. The activities in this pack are designed to be used by Skills for Life learners when they visit a library, and are designed to demystify the library, and explain how a library works, and how learners can get the most from using a library. The activities are mapped to the Adult Core Curriculum. The pack is generic, so could be used in any library setting.
You can download a copy of the pack from Downloads.
