Skills Workshop website

Downloadable session plans and materials for literacy, numeracy, ESOL and ICT teaching and learning

The Adult Basic Skills Resource Centre offers 300+ downloadable Skills for Life resources for teachers and learners. The Centre's Skills Workshop website is developed and managed by Maggie Harnew, a Skills for Life teacher at Abingdon and Witney College. The site is used as a resource in Essential Skills classes at the College, and is open to tutors and learners everywhere.

The resources, which include interactive schemes of work, are in PDF format. Customisable versions in Word format are available in exchange for session plan/resource contributions or ideas for extension activities for existing resources.

New materials are added to the site on an ongoing basis, and you can now sign up for a free, termly e-newsletter with information on new additions. For more info and to sign up for the e-newsletters, visit the Skills Workshop website.
