The AP Conference

Friday 27th March, Birmingham

All is looking very promising for our second annual AP Conference in March which will provide opportunities for APs and managers across the country to meet and exchange ideas as well the chance to hear all that has been happening as a result of the programme. The agenda for the day is in place and includes an exciting keynote speech from Rachael Lofthouse of @CollectivED1 on the power of mentoring and coaching for APs, as well as workshops from the 4 collaborative projects and showcased activity from representatives of CPD cohorts 4,5, and 6, which includes:

  • Teaching Triangles from Kidderminster College
  • Market Place – sharing resources from Blackburn College
  • Teaching and Learning Coaches: Transforming our Learning Community from Manchester Adult Education Service
  • Embedding the Professional Standards with AP Support from Waltham Forest College
  • Developing Reflective Learners from East Riding of Yorkshire Council
  • Development of Service-Wide Employability and Wider Skills Recognition from Haringey Adult Learning Service

It should be a very stimulating day and we can’t wait to see you there! Having said that, almost all our 100 subsidised places are taken up. The good news is that an extra 25 places have been released at the cost of £100 per delegate (a mere £85 for SET members).  If you haven’t booked yet, now is your chance. You may wish to bring a colleague or line manager. Or you may want to recommend the conference to others in your networks. It will be an excellent day.
