MI Skills Development Centre is an established social enterprise based in South East and South West London, providing accredited and non-accredited training, advice and consultancy to small and medium enterprises, employers and the community.
They are looking to appoint a candidate with significant experience at a senior level to oversee the delivery of the organisation’s offer and the further development of the adult skills and community learning curriculum areas.
The new Head of Programmes will play a visible role in the leadership of the organisation. With your extensive knowledge and experience of shaping and developing high-level post-16 education, you will have a strong focus on achieving the highest standards in the delivery of the offer, quality assurance and improvement processes. You will lead on all aspects of curriculum and quality developments to meet the priorities of the Local Authority, Greater London Authority and Education Skills Funding Agency.
You will have excellent knowledge of the relevant local, regional and national policy context for adult skills and community learning; good understanding of the adult education budget funding methodology, eligibility criteria and its impact on curriculum development; a track record of successful curriculum development and management and strong experience in implementing robust quality procedures to result in positive outcomes for all learners.
You will be responsible for the line management of a team of curriculum development leads and act as the deputy designated safeguarding lead. You will work onsite across the two MISDC sites in South London.
