ETF expand their English and maths offer

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) have introduced three new courses, to include training for vocational and ESOL teachers.

These ETF courses take place online and are delivered over 10, two-hour sessions, once a week. Courses start in April so make sure you don’t miss out! See below for more information on each course and to book your place.


NEW: Develop your learners’ Maths/English skills in vocational and technical settings

Provides participants with a range of strategies and activities to support the development and use of their Maths/English skills in a range of contexts.

NEW: Teaching ESOL in the Post- 16 Sector: Develop your practice (Level 5 module)

Designed to support new and experienced teachers of ESOL within the post-16 sector, especially those who have had no previous Level 5 subject specialist training.

Teaching GCSE English: Develop your practice (Level 5 Module)

Supports practitioners working with GCSE English learners, especially those who have achieved lower than a grade 4 at school.

Explore and experience how to engage and motivate learners and undertake assessment to build on their prior learning.

Teaching Maths GCSE: Develop your practice (Level 5 Module)

For teachers and other practitioners delivering GCSE maths in the Further Education and Training sector and Vocational staff providing T levels with substantial mathematical content.
