Join the Education and Training Foundation plus sector experts for these free English and Maths online network events this February.
Each three hour morning session is packed with opportunities to learn about new resources, share experiences and ideas and participate in some CPD.
National Maths Network Event 10/2/2023 09:30 – 12:30
Engage with sector experts discussing:
- Understanding Cognitive Barriers to maths learning
- Working with vocational teachers to embed Mastery into the vocational curriculum.
Introduced by ETF National Head of Maths Julie Baxter, the event will also feature breakouts and a plenary, with an opportunity for questions and answers. Places can be booked via the ETF booking site.
National English Network Event 13/2/2023 09:30 – 12.30
Hear from the experts on subjects including:
- Can ESOL pedagogy be applied to GCSE and Functional Skills delivery to develop responsive teaching and learning?
- Using TikTok to engage and motivate learners.
The National English Network event will be introduced by Jo Swindells, National Head of English and ESOL at the ETF. It will follow a similar format to the National Maths Network event, with the two speaker-led sessions, breakouts and a plenary. Places can be booked via the ETF booking site.
