External evaluation of the AP Development Programme

The Advanced Practitioner Programme external evaluation will ‘kick-off’ in earnest between February and March. The evaluators will be interviewing a sample of participants from across all programme strands (collaborative projects; communities of practice; the 3-day professional learning and development programme).

You can find out more about the external evaluation here

By way of a reminder, the purpose of the evaluation is to provide an independent assessment of the benefits and impact from the programme. The ICF team undertaking the evaluation will be in touch over the next few weeks with selected participants to arrange interviews. Your support is greatly appreciated. It will provide a further opportunity to capture lessons and reflect on experiences (views and perspectives will not be attributed to individuals or organisations). The evaluation team can be contacted via colin.howat@icf.com or aisha.ahmad@icf.com

For participants who have undertaken the 3-day CPD programme, you have probably recently received a follow-up ‘impact survey’ from the ETF. Thanks to those who have completed the survey, and hopefully others will be able to make the time do so as it provides really useful evidence for understanding how the programme has supported the AP role.
