The great news is that, to add to our hugely popular existing toolkit, we are shortly launching a new, additional guide specifically aimed at those who manage Advanced Practitioners.
Entitled ‘How managers can support and develop Advanced Practitioners – an organisational approach’, the new guide draws on learning shared by APs and on the 15 collaborative projects funded last year, as well as on evidence-based research that has been proven to make a positive difference to the professional development of both individuals and teams. As with our other guides, theory and practice are strongly linked throughout, and ‘reflective questions’ and ‘top tips’ have been devised to help managers apply strategies and processes that will support the AP role. Many APs have raised the question of how to use their role in developing a whole organisation approach to quality improvement in education. Here we ensure that leaders and managers are fully on board with our quest for excellence.
The guide will be published on the Excellence Gateway in November and will be supported by a series of webinars. So, keep your eyes peeled and we’ll bring you more information.
