The Evaluation of the Functional Skills Pilot Summative Report is now available
The report, which is now available to download, concludes that functional skills qualifications are expected to
improve learners’ skills in English, ICT and mathematics, and that their impact on attainment in associated learning
programmes such as Apprenticeship frameworks and Foundation Learning is likely to be significant.
