The Professional Development Programme for Advanced Practitioners is working towards several outcomes best summarised by three deceptively simple questions we explored on the CPD programme.
The Education and Training Foundation as part of its Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment Programme (OTLA4) awarded funding to 15 partnerships to work collaboratively to evaluate the role of Advanced Practitioners. We received 27 applications in total. This demonstrates a hunger to improve teaching, learning and assessment through peer-to-peer working, driven by those operating in Advanced Practitioner-type roles.

A JISC survey of 37,000 students shows that half of college learners and almost 70% of university students think digital skills will be important for their chosen career, yet only 41% believe their courses prepare them for a digital workplace.
