Another half-day consultation seminar on the Quality Improvement Agency work programme and on the quality improvement strategy will be held on the 15th of March
‘The Quality Improvement Agency (QIA) comes into operation in April 2006. It is being set up by the government as a central part of the five year education strategy and is part of the Success for All programme. It has three main tasks:
- To accelerate improvements in performance in the sector
- To secure effective responses to key reforms
- To promote a culture of self improvement
Â
Two half-day consultation seminars on the QIA work programme and on the quality improvement strategy for the sector have recently taken place, and another has been arranged. This will take place in London on the morning of the 15th of March.
The event is aimed at providers across the learning and skills sector and will have a real influence on the future work of the QIA and on the sector-wide strategy.’
