Request to set up online lessons or discussions with learners in Dubai during Ramadan

Susan Murad works in Dubai at a college for Emirati women, who are studying with English as the medium of delivery. The college is very much into online and virtual learning and Susan has an idea she would like to share with you and ask for your help with!

During the Holy Month of Ramadan, starting in October, the students will be working shorter hours, and her idea is to put them online, using WebCT, or Elluminate, as a means of language support for them. She would love the students to connect with similar English learners in the UK, so they could set up either lessons or discussions. There would be certain areas that could not be discussed but these could be agreed beforehand.

Anyone who is interested in this global learning project (only for a month) can contact Susan via one of her email addresses at Susan Murad or Susan Murad
