This practical guide ‘Moving from Key Skills to Functional Skills’ is aimed at all skills providers making the transition to Functional Skills qualification delivery within Apprenticeships from September 2012.

The guide, produced by the AELP and LSIS, is aimed at those who have some knowledge of functional skills but have yet to offer them their your organisation. It will also be useful if you already have some experience but would like to adopt a more coherent approach. The guide aims to:

  • explain what actions you need to take;
  • offer advice, suggestions and tips and
  • provide you with signposts to further information and support.
