Ofsted inspections suspended

Inspection & Quality
Skills for Life Network

All routine inspections of schools, further education, early years and social care providers have been suspended in response to the COVID-19 situation. Urgent inspections where specific concerns have been raised can still go ahead however.

Ofsted will not be publishing reports from recent inspections of schools, further education and early years providers until they reopen as normal for all children/students, but will continue to publish a small number of reports from recent social care inspections.

The Association of Colleges has called on Ofsted to continue to suspend all inspections until January 2021 at the earliest because of the disruptions and uncertainties caused by COVID-19.
