Free half-day information and support sessions for applicants and for managers and referees
Professional Recognition Learning and Skills (PRLS) Information and Support sessions
The Skills for Life Improvement Programme promotes and supports the Professional Recognition Learning and Skills (PRLS) scheme.
This will be the final chance for eligible practitioners to apply.
What is PRLS?
Professional Recognition Learning and Skills (England) is open to those Skills for Life teachers wanting to have their teaching experience, expertise and credentials reviewed with the purpose of becoming recognised teaching professionals in the learning and skills sector.
The window for applications, to Standards Verification UK (SVUK), is from 8th January to 23rd February 2007.
Preparing for the information and support sessions
There will be two half day sessions, one aimed at applicants and one for managers/referees. You can find out more from Downloads.
You may find it useful to read the following documents in order to find out more about the scheme and the process and to check the role and responsibilities of the referee.
- PRLS Guidance for Applicants
- PRLS Guidance Notes for Referees
- PRLS Application Form
You can find these on the LLUK website www.lluk.org in the PRLS news item on the home page.
