The Refugee Council and the Home Office have websites with information that will be of use to asylum seekers, refugees and those supporting them

The Refugee Council and the Home Office have websites with information that will be of help to those supporting asylum seekers and refugees.

The Refugee Council site www.refugeecouncil.org.uk offers information for asylum seekers and refugees. The information is available in 12 different languages. There is a language identification chart and free downloadable packs for people who wish to offer support.

The ‘Working in the UK’ website was launched by the Home Office in December 2003, and aimed to be a one-stop shop for foreign nationals and employers who wish to recruit them. It also provided clear guidance on immigration policy. For up to date information see here: https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas
