Yale professor of Psychology Dr Laurie Santos has studied the science of happiness and found that many of us do the exact opposite of what will truly make our lives better.

Based on the psychology course she teaches at Yale, Laurie’s podcast series, entitled The Happiness Lab,  will take you through the latest scientific research and share some surprising and inspiring stories that will change the way you think about happiness.

There are two seasons of 10 episodes, each lasting 30 minutes, with titles including:

  • You Can Change
  • How to Kick Bad Habits (and Start Good Ones)
  • Mistakenly Seeking Solitude
  • Caring What You’re Sharing
  • Choice Overload
  • Sleep right

There are also special edition episodes on managing your wellbeing through the Coronavirus, Christmas and New Year. Visit The Happiness Lab

Laurie also runs a free course through Coursera, entitled ‘The Science of Wellbeing’. The course runs over 10 weeks, with a time commitment of 2 hours per week. Find out more
