The Dyslexia Unwrapped website from Dyslexia Scotland is an online hub that has been designed to support young people with dyslexia.

The site features resources on a wide range of topics, including careers that are perfect for people with dyslexia, strategies for passing your driving test and ‘a day in the life of’ case studies.

Key features

The site homepage has a section on ‘What is dyslexia?’ and also sections for different age groups: Ages 8 -12, 13-18 and 18+. There’s also a video: ‘See dyslexia differently’. There are age-specific articles on many topics, including:

  • Internet safety
  • Getting the most out of your driving lessons
  • Answering job interview questions
  • Exams haven’t happened this year – how will I be graded?
  • Mental health and self esteem
