Daniel Scott is a Digital Learning Technologist who began his career at an FE College.
He proactively developed the use of Information Learning Technology and eLearning design in Teaching, Learning and Assessment and he specialises in evaluating and developing learning technology tools and designing eLearning resources.
Daniel has been a Certified Member of the Association for Learning Technology since 2013 and won the Learning Technologist of the Year Award 2016. He holds an MSC in Technology Enhanced Learning and is a qualified teacher, assessor and lead internal verifier. He is the author of Learning Technology: A Handbook for FE Teachers and Assessors (Further Education) and frequently posts on his professional and personal blog, which includes learning technology and eLearning practices, ideas and challenges with learning.
Daniel manages a free LinkedIn group for new learning technologists looking to explore similar type roles in colleges, universities and professional education, or wanting to develop themselves as a learning technologist and their career in learning technology.
