6th National Numeracy Conference June 2006, London South Bank University

LLU+ at London South Bank University is holding a Numeracy Conference on 6th June 2006.

 

‘How do we make numeracy and mathematics learning relevant in the post-16 sector? Is relevance for individuals the same as relevance for society? This conference aims to explore these and related issues in the fast changing landscape of adult numeracy teaching and learning.

Key note speaker will be Simon Singh, author of ‘Fermat’s Last Theorem’, on "How maths can stop you being tricked".
