Act now to take advantage of bursaries of £1500 for English/literacy and Numeracy/Maths specialists!

Information on teacher training courses starting soon at Newcastle College, including the Foundation degree in Education and Training for English, Literacy and Language specialists and the Foundation degree in Education and Training for Maths and Numeracy specialists.

Foundation Degree in Education and Training for English, Literacy and Language Specialists

  • particularly suited to literacy, ESOL and functional skills teachers/trainers
  • meets revised DTLLS standards in full.
  • includes a module on managing behaviour so will support people teaching 14-19 year olds.
  • runs from September 2012 to June 2013

Foundation Degree in Education and Training for Maths and Numeracy Specialists

  • particularly suited to numeracy, maths and functional skills teachers/trainers
  • meets revised DTLLS standards in full.
  • includes subject knowledge enhancement, a maths refresher and sessions throughout the course to improve your personal numeracy and mathematical skills.
  • runs from September 2012 to June 2013
