Adult Literacy teacher required for TV documentary series

Literacy
Skills for Life Network

Are you a confident, charismatic, energetic adult literacy teacher? Have you got a track record in helping people with reading and writing problems? If you’re a qualified teacher with a strong track record, and if you’re interested in bringing your skills and experience to a nationwide television audience, then we’d like to hear from you.

Leopard Films is developing a documentary series which aims to change the lives of adults who are affected by literacy problems. We understand what sensitive topic literacy is for adults who can’t read or write and we want to show how these problems can be overcome and the impact that acquiring these skills can have on people’s lives. We are an award winning and highly respected TV company with a track record in making distinct and compassionate programs, ranging from the ‘Missing’ series about missing persons for the BBC to a recent documentary about OAP bodybuilders.

We’re working with a major broadcaster to develop this new series – it all depends on finding the right teacher. Could this be you? We want to transform the lives of adults with limited reading and writing skills and we’re looking for the right teacher to work with these people.

We are looking for someone who has either developed or uses innovative techniques in their teaching, someone who has had considerable success in their adult literacy teaching career. If you feel this could be you, or know someone else who could fit the bill then please contact Josephine on 0207 704 5343 or josephinebesbrode@leopardfilms.com. Thanks.
