A free event for anyone interested in adult numeracy, with the opportunity to share ideas and practice and engage in current debates

‘ALM Symposium 2 is to be held at The Westbury Centre, Barking, 26th January 2007, 9.30am – 4pm.

This is a free event for anyone interested in adult numeracy, to share ideas and practice and engage in current debates. This will incorporate a discussion led by Professor Diana Coben on effective practice in Adult Numeracy. In addition to this there will be a selection of workshops.

Workshops include: Art and Maths; How to support adults with gaps in their mathematical knowledge; What is the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics?

Speakers include: Diana Coben; Rudi Grant; Jane Annets; Eigil Peter Hansen.

Lunch will be provided. Book early to avoid disappointment.
