An essential CPD module for teachers of the 14-19 Diplomas at HE Level 2
The Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training at the University of Sunderland (SUNCETT) is pleased to announce the offer of a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) module for teachers of the new 14-19 Diplomas in colleges, schools and other work-based settings. The module will help teachers of the new 14-19 Diplomas to rise to the challenges of their delivery with creativity, enthusiasm and confidence. The module will raise awareness of the curriculum design, pedagogical principles and the classroom and assessment practices necessary for their successful implementation.

The course is aimed at qualified teachers who will be delivering the new 14-19 Diplomas from September 2008. The module may also be of interest to those teachers likely to be teaching from September 2009. These teachers could be working in schools, FE colleges or other workplaces involved in the delivery of the 14-19 Diplomas.
