Embedding Skills for Life in the Waste Management Industry – a review from WAMITAB

As the Awarding Body for the Waste Management Industry, WAMITAB became aware of the increasing need to improve the levels of literacy and numeracy to enable candidates to achieve the Waste Management Operations National Vocational Qualifications. As part of a DfES funded project on ’embedding’ WAMITAB has introduced a formal approach to embedded delivery of Skills for Life qualifications alongside the more workplace based NVQs.
