Maths4Us: Free Poster Pack

Resources , Numeracy
Skills for Life Network

These three posters are for practitioners to use in literacy and language classrooms.

They spark discussion and debate about number and maths. It is hoped that taking part in conversations about maths and number, might inspire some learners to think about studying maths or numeracy.

More people lack confidence in their maths skills than in their literacy or language skills. Adults are sometimes reluctant to start learning maths or numeracy because of negative associations with school maths lessons. The posters are designed to give an easy way for LLN tutors to start talking about the issue, and to suggest enrolling on numeracy courses.
