You are invited to join us at the North East National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) CPD Network Meeting for mathematics teaching and professional development provision on the 20th June 2011.

The meeting is being held at Monkseaton High School from 2 till 5.30 p.m. and offers an opportunity to local CPD providers to meet and discuss issues. There will also be an update on some of the projects recently completed by the NCETM including

We will have the opportunity to discuss and reflect together on how the results of these projects might influence our practice and the network will also allow local NCETM groups, such as Lesson Study, Rich Tasks, Parent Child Homework and others to both feedback on their current work and meet as separate focus groups.

If you are not able to attend for the whole afternoon, please join us between 3.30 and 4.00 for refreshments, followed by focus groups and discussion. Please email Cheryl Teasdale or phone 0114 219 6116 to book a place.
