NWPDAS

The North West Skills for Life Professional Development Advice Service (NWPDAS) can offer:

  • Support to providers to promote and signpost individuals and organisations to Skills for Life Professional Development Programmes.
  • Bespoke Skills for Life training for priority stakeholders such as JCP, TUC, Learning Representatives, Train to Gain Brokers, WBL and other key intermediaries. The training will help raise awareness of Skills for Life, explore professional development needs within your organisation and signpost individuals to provision.
  • Train the Trainer Training to deliver Skills for Life awareness raising within your own organisation.
  • Work with networks to provide Train the Trainer Training to promote greater use of Move on With your Learners L2 programme. This programme was originally developed for WBL assessors to enable them to gain a level 2 National Certificate in either literacy or numeracy, as well as the practical knowledge needed to support learners on vocational training programmes.
