The government is seeking your views on proposed changes to the special educational needs and disabilities and alternative provision system in England.
SEND provision: key proposals
The proposed changes would also affect SEND provision in the FE sector, and aim to:
- Improve SEND students’ transition to FE
- Introduce digital, standardised EHCPs
- Provide for local SEND inclusion plans and national funding tariffs
- Improve careers guidance provision and increase the number of supported internships over the next three years.
