SEND provision: open consultation

The government is seeking your views on proposed changes to the special educational needs and disabilities and alternative provision system in England.

SEND provision: key proposals

The proposed changes would also affect SEND provision in the FE sector, and aim to:

  • Introduce digital, standardised EHCPs
  • Provide for local SEND inclusion plans and national funding tariffs
  • Improve careers guidance provision and increase the number of supported internships over the next three years.

The consultation closes on the 1st of July 2022. You can read more and have your say here
