Skills for Life and Key Skills Practice tests

These Skills for Life and Key Skills practice tests were developed over the period 2001 to 2010, to support the national Skills for Life Strategy.

About the tests

The ItemBank website held a massive number of Key Skills and Skills for Life questions which could be used to recreate practice tests for Literacy/Communication, Numeracy/Application of Number at levels 1 and 2 and ICT at level 1. The tests could be taken online on-screen there and then or printed out on paper.

Itembank is  no longer operational but you can find out more about the Skills for Life and Key Skills practice tests here.
