A free national dissemination event looking at how the Step in to Learning programme contributes to the Government’s Skills for Life Strategy and the new ten-year childcare strategy

This FREE national Step in to Learning dissemination event takes place in London on Tuesday 28th February 2006, with the theme of developing the childcare workforce.

The event will look at how the Step in to Learning programme contributes to the Government’s Skills for Life Strategy and the new ten-year childcare strategy, and how this programme can be rolled out in your area as a key part of integrated children’s services offered by Local Authorities.

This event will give you the information and tools required to set up the programme locally. It will celebrate the success of the project over the past 5 years and offer innovative ideas on contextualising the training programmes to suit different audiences.

Speakers will include a Government Minister, representatives from the Sure Start and Skills for Life Strategy Units and conference chair, Denise Burke, Senior Childcare Manager London Development Agency

Further conference details will be sent you by email in the new year. If you are interested in attending and would like to receive priority booking information, email stepintolearning@ctad.co.uk. To find out more about Step visit www.stepintolearning.org
