SUccess North

The Success North Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training winter conference will include presentations and workshops by a range of partners and other organisations, within the theme of technology-enhanced learning.

To celebrate the third year of Success North CETT we are putting together a day of presentations and workshops for teachers/trainers, managers, employers and other stakeholders involved in post-16 teaching and training. Partner institutions will have the opportunity to share their good practice and learn from each other, whilst addressing key issues related to the development of excellence in teaching and teaching development, including a technology-enhanced strand. More workshops are being added to the programme, and already include:

Technology-enhanced workshops

  • Social networking and education – the next five years
  • Getting to grips with IfL Reflect
  • Pod-casting

Other interactive workshops – to include:

  • Teaching Employability Skills
  • Professional Formation
  • A focus on Level 7
  • Researching the effectiveness of teacher training

Resources and Research

  • Resource showcase from the Subject Learning Coach Programme
  • Mentor Action Research Projects
  • CETTnet practitioner research group
  • Success North CETT classroom teaching, DVD and IAG resources
