Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training

Newcastle College leads "Success North" Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training (CETT).

Success North has been working in partnership with providers to support teachers and trainers. Success North is a collaborative partnership led by Newcastle College, and consists of a diverse range of training providers, groups and organisations from all settings in the post-compulsory sector.

Success North represents OLASS, WBL, ACL, the voluntary sector, FE and HE partners who have already made influential contributions to the partnership and within their field. The partners within Success North represent extensive coverage across the North of England, a wealth of expertise from a range of teaching and learning contexts.

Success North partners share the common aim of ‘raising the standards of ITT and CPD provision through the development of strategies and materials to support trainee specialisms according to both subject and context.’
