A series of leaflets providing clear information about how to qualify as a teacher of adult numeracy.

This series of three leaflets has been developed by the North East Skills for Life Teacher Educator Network, with the aim of providing information for those considering a career teaching numeracy, those already teaching numeracy and for managers.

The leaflets were produced through a Skills for Life Improvement Programme Effective Practice Project.

  • Leaflet 1: for those interested in a career in teaching numeracy
  • Leaflet 2: for teachers who are not yet qualified to teach numeracy
  • Leaflet 3: for Train to Gain managers looking at the business case for supporting staff to qualify to teach numeracy
