Adult and Community Learning Services

Suffolk Adult and Community Learning Services are inviting applicants to join a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Adult and Community Learning Services.

Provision of Adult Learning in Cumbria

Cumbria County Council Community Learning and Skills is looking to develop a range of partnerships with subcontracted providers to help them:

Provide additional capacity in specific curriculum and geographic areas not covered by their own community learning centres, including:

  • Specialist Provision (e.g. horticulture, STEM – science, technology, engineering, mathematics, health and care)
  • Provision to support rural isolation
  • Specific target group – LDD, employability

They are also lookign to procure a small proportion of non-accredited community learning provision in the Carlisle area only. This should link directly to the digital and core curriculum with clear progression pathways to accredited qualifications.

Adult and Community Learning Framework

Hackney Council is seeking suitably qualified providers to join a framework for the provision of Adult and Community Learning.

For 2022/23, Hackney Adult Learning Service will be commissioning a broad range of courses from a wide variety of curriculum subjects. These include long or short, accredited or non-accredited courses. The Adult Learning curriculum offers have been subdivided into six (lots) main subject areas:

Lot 1 – Vocational training
Lot 2 – Functional Skills English
Lot 3 – Functional Skills Maths
Lot 4 – ICT
Lot 5 – ESOL
Lot 6 – Community & Family Learning

The framework will be for a duration of 2 years, with options to extend for up to a further 2 years at the Council’s sole discretion.

Employability, adult skills, community learning & careers guidance

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council are tendering for a range of projects supported by the European Social Fund and ERDF European Regional Development Fund. Projects will help to deliver employability support (age 16+), adult skills and community learning and offer support to employed individuals who wish to progress in work, move into new sectors or are at risk of redundancy, along with supporting Careers Information Advice and Guidance to all age groups. This will also include Consultancy services required to facilitate the delivery of the above requirements.
