ESOL provision, South Cambridgeshire District Council
As part of South Cambridgeshire District Council’s work to support guests from Ukraine through the Homes for Ukraine scheme, they are working with their local communities in their efforts to welcome and provide support for guests. By providing ‘English for speakers of other languages’ (ESOL) courses, to Ukrainian guests who have arrived under the Homes for Ukraine scheme, they would like to support guests to improve their English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. These courses will also help to improve social interactions and everyday life as well as improve job prospects. They will require suppliers to provide cost effective, flexible, high quality and value for money ESOL classes.

DfE Skills Bootcamps
The Department for Education invite suppliers who are interested in delivering Skills Bootcamps in the skills categories below to apply to qualify onto the Skills Bootcamps Dynamic Purchasing System. While unconfirmed, suppliers should be aware there is a possibility of further call off competitions this year (earliest July) and only suppliers who are qualified onto the Dynamic Purchasing System at that point would be able to apply.

The DfE is considering its options for the continued provision of professional development support to Further Education (FE) providers who deliver T Level courses.

Employability, adult skills, community learning & careers guidance
Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council are tendering for a range of projects supported by the European Social Fund and ERDF European Regional Development Fund. Projects will help to deliver employability support (age 16+), adult skills and community learning and offer support to employed individuals who wish to progress in work, move into new sectors or are at risk of redundancy, along with supporting Careers Information Advice and Guidance to all age groups. This will also include Consultancy services required to facilitate the delivery of the above requirements.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) intends to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to procure Work Focused Activities in Jobcentre Plus Districts in England, Scotland and Wales.

Shaw Trust Delivery Partner Dynamic Purchasing Service
The Delivery Partners Dynamic Purchasing System (DPDPS) is currently open until May 2026. Current contracts are with a range of commissioners including but not limited to DWP, ESFA and HMPPS. The three business areas are Children’s and Young Peoples Services. Employability, Health and Wellbeing and Learning and Skills.

Apprenticeship Training Provision
The Borough Council of Gateshead are an Apprenticeship Levy paying organisations. The Council is establishing a pseudo-DPS to establish a framework of approved providers of apprenticeship training.

Adult Learning and Skills Activities in Community Settings – Sheffield City Council
Sheffield City Council’s grant for the 19+ Adult Education Budget (AEB) for both formula funded and non-formula funding will fund learning for Adults 19+ who live in South Yorkshire, so that they can improve their skills, get back to work or remain and progress in work. The Council is now inviting suppliers to apply to their Dynamic Purchasing Service.

Prison Education Dynamic Purchasing System
The Ministry of Justice (the “Authority”) is seeking to establish the Prison Education Dynamic Purchasing System (PEDPS) for the provision of education, Information, Advice and Guidance and resettlement services to those in custody in England.
