Who is it for?
This course is aimed at experienced adult literacy practitioners who are interested in CPD at Masters level, but also require the Certificate for adult literacy subject specialists

What will you need to come on the course?
Students will be required to have 30 hours teaching practice in place, and a Certificate in Education as well as the normal entry requirements for the MA in Literacy and Language. They will be assessed on 3 hours of the teaching.

What does the course involve?
The course will involve four modules:
1. The development of literacy and language
2. The teaching and learning of adult literacy and language
3. Language in practice
4. Research methods in education
plus a dissertation, three hours assessed teaching practice and a personal skills component, which will be assessed through weekend schools.

How will it be run?
