The external evaluation of the AP Development Programme is now underway and we really appreciate the time you are taking to get involved with it and to help the ETF shape a future offer.
We know many of you have already undertaken telephone interviews with members of the ICF team, and those who have been selected for the ‘deep dive’ case studies are busy arranging visits.
In total, ICF are carrying out 32 telephone interviews with participants from across the project-strands and from a range of cross-sector organisations. They are also conducting 6 in-depth (‘deep-dive’) case studies, exploring the impact of the programme on the whole institution, from learners to senior managers. You can see further information about the evaluation here.
Check out the Skills for Life Network E-News Update May 2022 for a round up of what’s new and what’s happening in maths, English, ESOL and digital skills in the FE and Training sector.
On Tuesday 24th of May 2022, AELP in partnership with The Skills Network will run the Maths and English Summit, which will give providers the opportunity to come together to attend a dedicated event focusing solely on maths and English provision.
Round five of the DfE-funded Taking Teaching Further initiative that supports providers to recruit teachers, including maths, English and SEND specialists, is now open.
In this podcast Saima Hanif, ESOL Lecturer at Hopwood Hall College and a participant in the Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment programme, gives us an engaging insight into using Flipgrid with ESOL learners.
