The Citizen Literacy programme is designed to help adults to improve their reading and writing skills, and offers free learning resources including an innovative learner web app.

There will also soon be an option to subscribe to a new Tutor Hub, offering:

  • Tutor Handbooks:  Bookmarks / Lesson Customisation
  • Connected Learners: Tutor to Learner messaging and activities via app
  • Custom Word and Activity Builder: Tutor authoring tool for the app
  • Phonics Dictionary and Pronunciation Coach: 300,000 + words multimedia

Citizen Literacy is a wholly independent Community Interest Company (CIC) a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping improve adult literacy in the English language, based and registered in Scotland. The programme was designed by a team including ccConsultancy. You can read more about how it was developed here.
