About

TED-Ed is TED’s youth and education initiative. It offers an extensive library of original video lessons on a wide range of topics, and provides an international platform for teachers to create their own interactive lessons. It’s free to use, and you can sign up to receive daily lessons, activities and challenges. Here’s a brief outline of what you can do with TED-Ed:-

Discover the video lessons available

You can browse hundreds of TED-Ed animations and TED Talks, and there are thousands of other video-based lessons organised by subject. You can search by age/subject, and themes. There’s also a Blog with articles and updates from TED-Ed.

Create your own video-based lessons and talks

You can create customised video lessons for your students. You can add interactive questions, discussion topics and more to your favourite TED-Ed animations, TED talks or any video on YouTube. You can share the lessons with your students online and track the results.

Students can create talks on their own, in class or at home, and share their ideas with the world through the Student Talks programme.

You can create your own TED-style talks through the TED Masterclass programme.

Manage your lessons and talks

You can edit lessons you’ve created, and track student progress. You can also manage your discussions and comments in lessons.
