The OTLA English programme

OTLA English was phase 6 of the Education and Training Foundation’s Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment programme which aims to improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment in the FE and training sector.

The OTLA English programme was delivered on behalf of the ETF by ccConsultancy with support from That Reading Thing and Skills Digital. The team brought together experts in Post-16 English teaching, experts in collaborative action research approaches and a management team with previous experience of successfully delivering OTLA programmes.

The 45 organisations taking part were grouped into 12 projects that collaboratively investigated aspects of the teaching, learning and assessment of English.

The interim dissemination event was held on the 5th of September 2019. Check out this wakelet to get a feel for the day and follow the programme at #OTLAEnglish
