This series of books is aimed at Pre-Entry ESOL learners. The vocabulary comprises words that are familiar or can be pre-taught, so that learners can recognize them when they see them. The books are about the everyday life of some of these people, moving to a different country and settling into a new environment. The text is large-print, sentences are simple to read and follow, and are illustrated to aid comprehension. The 6 titles in the series are: My Week, My College, My English Class, My House, My Friend, My Town

All of them have absolutely no English at all. These books have been aimed at Pre-Entry learners who have no basic understanding of the language. They are intimidated by the language and scared to attempt reading. My aim in writing these books was to involve them in reading English.”
