The Functional Skills Resources subscription website has hit a landmark figure of 400 unique resources available for you to download and use with your learners, including how to guides, activities and life skills workbooks.
The site also has videos, PowerPoints, revision guides and Schemes of Work.
Lyn Calver and Pete Middleton of LC Education and Training and creators of the Functional Skills Resources website, tell us:
“We have over the last twelve months strengthened our offer on three subjects:
- Entry level materials
- Level One English
- Speaking and Listening
This was based on customer feedback, that clients had given us, as materials they would like us to create.
As well as our annual subscription model, we offer a monthly subscription of £11.97 with access to all materials, which has proved very popular. We save staff a minimum of two hours per week of searching for resources on the internet and even more time if you usually make your own materials. That works out at less than £1.50 for each hour saved.
We will continue to write materials on topics that learners can use in real life: a work place review and paying Income Tax are examples of upcoming resources.
Included in our offer, is our commitment that we add at least two quality resources a month, so we don’t rest – we continue to build and grow our website.
