Know Your Normal: mental health in young autistic adults
Autism is not a mental health condition itself, but around 70-80% of children and adults on the autism spectrum have experienced mental health problems. Autistic young people have particular difficulty finding suitable help. This new report presents recommendations from a study in which young autistic people themselves were partners in an academic research project to explore their experiences and needs.

An Introduction to Practitioner-led Research
The OTLA team in the North East and Cumbria have developed a one-day introductory course for practitioners in Education and Training settings who may be new to practitioner-led research. The course aims to introduce them to a range of practical strategies for investigating, evaluating and improving their teaching and emphasises the necessity of working with other staff in order to understand and change teaching practices in differing contexts.
