The Functional Skills Resources subscription website has hit a landmark figure of 300 unique resources available for you to download and use with your learners.
Resources include how to guides, activities and life skills workbooks, and are based on real-life topics to help you really engage your learners.
The team at LC Education who produce the Functional Skills Resources website write:
“We are consistently asked about entry level resources from our customers, so we have focused on strengthening this part of what we offer, providing more materials based on real-life topics to help staff get greater engagement in the classroom. The new resources have proved a hit with staff working in alternative education and prison settings, and they have requested more!
As well as our annual subscription model, we now offer a monthly subscription of £11.97 with access to all materials, which has proved very popular. We like to think that we save staff a minimum of two hours per week of searching for resources on the internet and even more time if you usually make your own materials. That works out at less than £1.50 for each hour saved.
We have also had a number of requests for schemes of work and have now uploaded schemes for maths at Level 1 and 2, with Entry 3 soon to follow.”
